Manoj Sati, a graduate in commerce, harboured a burgeoning interest in the creative realms of theatre and cinema from an early stage in his career. In the early 1990s, he became affiliated with the esteemed theatre group ANK, under the leadership of the distinguished Sangeet Natak Academy awardee, Shri Dinesh Thakur. During his tenure, he not only graced the stage in numerous theatrical productions but also undertook responsibilities as an assistant director and playwright for several dramatic adaptations, offering invaluable support to the director across a range of esteemed theatre presentations.

In his endeavour to establish himself as a film director and writer, Manoj Sati acquired substantial experience by serving as an assistant and associate director for esteemed filmmakers and prominent film productions.
